A lifelong experience as a cyclist having raced competitively as a mountain biker, been a race team owner and organizer , manufacturers representative, shop manager and bike fitter since 2014. A passion for mountain biking, bike camping and one-day fondos, a two time Race Across America ( RAAM ) participant.
He has worked with many Cycling Canada and Team Quebec athletes, specifically for aero testing and optimization.

Holder of a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Montreal, Jules has been offering cycling positioning services at Posivelo for more than five years. An experienced elite cyclist in road cycling, he has participated in several international competitions, including the prestigious Tour de Beauce, the Philadelphia International Cycling Classic, and the Tour du Rwanda.
Jules is currently working on a doctoral project at the Laboratoire de technologies et d'innovation pour la performance sportive (L-Tips) of the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. His project involves creating a model for tracking and predicting performance in cycling.
A knowledge seeker, he reads practically anything related to sports performance. He is known for his attention to detail, his ability to combine the latest scientific advancements with field practice, and his deep desire to help and advise others to achieve their goals.

Posivelo distribute and sell saddles and footbeds from Gebiomized Germany. Developed based on 15 years of pressure mapping analysis and experience building custom cycling saddles and footbeds. These products are backed with valuable input from some of the worlds finest and most famous bike fitters.
Posivelo proudly carry and offer to Canadians the very first line of gebioMized saddles called the SecretSaddle Club and Push Footbeds and wedges.

We have begun VELODROME aero testing in the newly minted Centre National Cyclisme Bromont (CNCB) using the Garmin / Alphamantis Track Aero system.
Reservations for this service are based on track availability.
As well, our new Velogic fit system can provide an area estimate for fit and aero estimation.
All kinds of bikes and all kinds of riders. Great bike fits aren’t guesswork—they’re grounded in real biomechanics, motion analysis, and years of learning.
A good bike fit needs to solve the issues the cyclist may be having and help the rider meet their cycling goals. Posivelo will analyze the rider kinematics in order to minimize injury and maximize efficiency and power generation.

This fit a balance between given event guidelines and rules, duration, aerodynamic resistance and optimized biomechanical output with the lowest metabolic cost possible. This is a fit covering all points of contact with a focus on aerodynamics.
Posivelo has a long list of Olympic, track pursuit and Ironman athletes who can attest to the quality of our services.
We use Velogic fit software to estimate frontal area on green screen combined with pressure mapping software and motion capture,

The fit starts with a comprehensive physical assessment and interview then uses most of the fit tools we have in the studio in combination with our EYES. Motion capture, pressure mapping technology from Gebiomized along with the latest in high-speed video technology.
Designed to understand your abilities, experience, limitations and issues then adjust your bike to fit you, creating harmony of bike and rider.

Dedicated to time trial, triathlon or road bikes with aero bars. The fitting aims to establish a balanced and sustainable aerodynamic posture adapted to your goals, without advanced aerodynamic optimization.
Session performed on fit bike and your own bike, 2D video analysis, saddle pressure mapping (Gebiomized)
Includes: interview (medical and cycling history), mobility/flexibility assessment, adjustment of shoes, saddle, armrests
Post fit reporting included
Follow- up not included

A personalized bike fitting session designed to improve the comfort, efficiency, and sustainability of your posture on the bike.
This session establishes a neutral and stable position using 2D video measurements and a physical assessment, without advanced performance optimization.
Includes: interview (medical and cycling history), mobility/flexibility assessment, adjustment of shoes, saddle and bars.
Post fit reporting included
Follow- up not included

Part 1: (1.5hr. duration.) allows us to establish your optimal position using your old bike and or our adjustable bike. At the end of this first session, we will have determined the ideal measurements for your new bike and we will be able to recommend the ideal model, size and precise prescription for points of contact for your new bike.
Part 2. (30mins+.) Ride the new bike prior to familiarize and adapt. We will refine the position on the new bike based on rider feedback and our own evaluation

Service reserved for existing customers (within 2 years of initial bike fitting).
Ideal for small adjustments such as new shoes, cleats, saddle, or small component changes.
This service does not include fitting additional, new, or different bikes.
Session to ensure our regular and past clients are performing to their potential and are well taken care of.
Our most in depth offering using the latest technology as well as our experience , physical evaluation and reoprting.
Shorter duration session, covers all points of contact , includes full physical evaluation and post fit reporting.
Get a fit before you buy a bike to avoid costly mistakes and ensure the first experience on the new bike is level or exceeds expectations. .

We offer an Aero fitting which is designed to balance aero, stability and power generation

Every case is a little different. Some clients get great benefit from understanding the consequences and changes in frontal area exploring with Bioracer Aero software.

We can help assemble equipment to test. We have some helmets from Kask, Lazer, Giro and Scott. Bioracer and Santini have been generous with lending out suits. Sometimes the cost of a test can help avoid expensive missteps in the choice of the wrong equipment.

Prior to testing we install our power pedals, speed sensors and data transmitter to ensure high quality, consistent and accurate data.

The (TAS) Track Aero System is the tool of choice for quantifying rider position and equipment choices made. It allows us to conclusively determine the fastest combination for you and your bike.

Without measuring performance, we’re doing no better than guessing.
Following the test a report is sent to the rider based on the results.

Aero is massively important! In order to minimize air resistance and to get the most performance out of the riders’ position, we optimize the bodies’ interaction with their equipment in order to maximize performance and minimize the chance of injury from unnecessary movement or unsustainable postures on the bike. We now offer aero testing for professional and amateur riders in the newly minted CNCB Bromont Sylvan Adams velodrome.
The measuring tool we use is the Garmin Track Aero System (TAS) formerly Alphamantis and it is the gold standard in aerodynamic analysis. The process measures your CdA as you ride around the velodrome, wirelessly sending the data to the analyst in track centre. Small changes in position and equipment set up are compared to a baseline and with multiple runs eventually we can chip away at the air resistance and make you more aerodynamic for a given power output.
The track is thus turned into a laboratory, with trackside computers calculating live CdA values. See photos below for some examples of the iterative process.
Testing sessions are performed at the CNCB Sylvan Adams Velodrome in Bromont Quebec and can be arranged for an individual or group booking.
Solo test 2h $1000 + taxes

Our innovative TAS is a cutting-edge technology that allows real-time testing of aerodynamic efficiency while you’re riding. The system allows us to measure your coefficient of drag (CdA) as you ride, and it enables us to conclusively determine the optimal position and equipment combination for you and your bike — ultimately improving your performance.

THE SYLVAN ADAMS VELODROME – DESJARDINS MULTISPORTS CENTER
This state of the art facility will house a UCI legal wood track, a running track, a space reserved for BMX & pump track , trampoline and jumps area as well as multi-sport gymnasium.
This is where we do aero testing.
Now a top-level runner, Simon was previously a professional cyclist and now works with a varied clientele of all ages in order to help the body regain well-being, health and ease in movement through Osteopathy.
